Puppy Education Service

One-to-one, 1 hour online session that supports you in giving your puppy the best possible start in life.

The Puppy Education service is aimed at helping you PREVENT the development of behavioural problems in your puppy.

This is because preventing dog behavioural issues before they have had a chance to develop is key to a calm and happy life for you and your puppy!

Clearly knowing how to care for your puppy's mental health and how to relate in a way that nurtures your relationship, while supporting your puppy's emotional development, is crucial.

What you do NOW can significantly impact your puppy’s future behaviour and long-term wellbeing, as well as yours.

You will benefit from this service if…

  • You are the caregiver of a puppy who is under 4 months of age OR you are planning on adopting a puppy

FAQs

  • The first 4 months of life represent a sensitive developmental phase for puppies. Exposing puppies to negative experiences or not exposing them to desirable experiences during this critical phase can predispose them to behaviour problems in adulthood.

Being equipped with the right advice prior to and during this critical phase in your puppy’s development is therefore important.

  • Don’t worry… your puppy’s emotional development is ongoing and there is still a lot that you can do, as a caregiver, to provide support and prevent behavioural problems. This means that receiving adequate guidance throughout subsequent developmental phases is also important.

If your puppy is over 4 months old and you would like to know more about behavioural problem prevention, just fill out the form on the contact page.
